Pura Vida from gorgeous Costa Rica! Pura Vida means so many things: pure life, full of life, this is living! It's used as a greeting (hello and farewell) or to express satisfaction. It's a philosophy that flows everywhere in Costa Rica and has touched every one of us on this trip.

It's a way of life that encourages strong community, perseverance, resilience in overcoming difficulties with good spirits, enjoying life slowly (this one I've been practicing all week), and celebrating good fortune of magnitudes small and large.
